Deer Hunting!

Daddy came home from deer hunting to pick Max up and take him for his first deer hunt.  He was so excited and told Daddy "If we see a deer, we should let it walk around for a while because it's the last time it will be alive"  They saw a buck, but it wasn't big enough to shoot.  Ben offered to take someone too, so Will loaded up and went hunting with Ben.  Ben and Will got a doe, and Will was so excited about it.  Meanwhile, Levi and I decided to take a bike ride on the Katy Trail to get ice cream!  It was great Sunday evening!

Fishing in November!

Daddy went out of town deer hunting and the weather was beautiful, so Papa Great took us fishing on the river.  We went fishing for catfish with stink bait.  This was the boys first experience with it so they thought it was rather funny!  We caught a few small catfish but nothing we could keep.

Zoo!

The boys had a day off of school so we headed to the zoo with Aunt Megan, Jacob, Riley and Blake.  The kids all had so much fun watching the animals and just hanging out with each other.

A November Boat Ride!

We rarely get such a beautiful warm day in November.  So after church yesterday, we decided to squeeze in some river time before winter arrives.  It was such a beautiful day!

Halloween!

Halloween week was busy with excitement and crazy sugar crazed boys!  We went to Trunk or Treat at school early in the week.  Later in the week we carved pumpkins.  And finally it was Halloween.  We spent the day visiting Grandma's then went to Aunt Megan & Uncle Bill's for snacks before we took a hayride to trick or treat.  Once the rain stopped it was a perfect warm night for trick or treating.  The kids were all too busy having fun that any picture I managed to get was blurry.
