Lunch Date!

We decided to Tie Dye shirts this morning then take a field trip to Main Street for lunch and ice cream!  They boys had so much fun doing the Tie Dye.  We are so excited to see what they'll turn out like.  We then went to lunch at RT Weilers and the boys lunches came in dog bowls.  They thought it was hilarious!  Finally we took a walk down Main Street and had Ice Cream cones to cool us off.  It was a great afternoon with my boys!

Mark Twain Lake!

As soon as Kindergarten was over we headed to Mark Twain Lake for Memorial Day Weekend.  The boys took a bike ride to the end of the road while mommy ran, they had a big kick ball game with all their cousins and Aunts and Uncles, they went fishing with Papa Great and Uncle Mark, they made S'mores and just overall had a great time.  We all had a great time kicking off summer at Mark Twain Lake!

Last Day of Kindergarten!

I don't know where the time went, but my babies graduated Kindergarten today!  They had a concert and then a picnic on the playground to celebrate the last day.  I became teary eyed a few times, but got really emotional when Levi's teacher presented the parents with memory books while she was crying!  That was hard for mom!  All the boys teachers made them memory books which are absolutely the best thing any mother could get!  They give us a glimpse into their school days and it shows how much they've grown since the beginning of the year.  Mommy, Daddy, Grandma and Grandpa Hackmann, Mama Weber and Papa Great, GG and Favorite Aunt Sandy all came to celebrate with us.  I can hardly believe that I am the mom of First Graders.  And I'm teary eyed again just writing about it!  I am so proud of my boys and am excited for what's to come!

Field Day!

The boys had Field Day at school yesterday.  I volunteered, but the boys didn't come through my station so I didn't get to see them do any of their events, however I was able to have lunch with them!  They had a D.J. playing music throughout the days events and during lunch the kids were all dancing.  It was quite uplifting to see 500 K-5th graders doing the Cha Cha slide! The boys had a lot of fun and it was nice to be able to spend a little time with them at school.
