Levi's Piano Recital

Levi had his very first piano recital yesterday.  He was so so excited.  We got him a new suit and we had a special dinner afterwards with Grandma and Papa, Mama Weber and Papa Great and GG who all came to watch his recital.  Before it was his turn to go Max asked Levi if he was nervous and Levi said no.  Then Grandma asked Max if he was nervous for Levi and Max said "No, he's played this like 100 times, he's got this!"  With all the fighting they do it's so nice to see when they are caring and proud of each other.  Levi did amazing!  He played Peter Peter and Jack and the Beanstalk.  When he was done and came back to sit next to me he said he was shaking!  We couldn't tell though.  We are all so very proud of him!

A Busy Weekend!

Lat weekend was very busy.  Papa Great retired so we went out to dinner on Friday night at Froge's in Portage to celebrate his last day of work.  Saturday we had a chili cook off at Great Great Uncle Danny's.  The kids had a hat contest and played outside with their cousins enjoying the super warm weather.  After the Chili cook off we took the boys to their first Blues game.  It was their Halloween game so the boys wore their costumes and were able to do a little trick or treating at the game.  We were able to go to the ice to watch the Blues warm up which the boys thought was awesome.  They really enjoyed the game and really got into the cheers and chants, and they were especially excited that we won.

Pumpkin Patch

On our last day of Fall Break we went to the pumpkin patch.  I'm not sure we've ever wore shorts to the pumpkin patch, but we weren't complaining.  We enjoyed the beautiful weather and played for a while before the boys chose their pumpkins.

Vacation-Chicago-Day 2

On our second day in Chicago we went to the Museum of Science and Industry.  It was just ok.  It was expensive just to get in the place, then it would have been an extra $51 for us to see each of the additional exhibits.  Then there were field trips everywhere.  Not that I mind field trips but we didn't see an adult the entire time, just kids running wild so it was very hard to see or do anything.  It was rather disappointing and we were glad to leave.   It really makes us grateful for our great FREE museums in STL.  When we left the museum we found a really old bowling alley and bowled a few games.  Then we met up with Lisa and Louis for Sushi dinner.  All the boys tried Sushi and liked it.  Finally we ended the night with ice cream.  The next morning we went to the beach for a little bit before it was time for us to head home.  Vacation 2016 was a lot of fun!
