September has been a whirlwind. Alicia was participating in the Iron Man Triathlon in Madison, Wisconsin so mommy and Lisa went up for the weekend to cheer her on. Alicia did amazing and mommy and Lisa enjoyed our girls weekend away! When we got home Papa the Great had started getting really sick and had to go into the hospital. We found out he has Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia. This strand is very treatable and we are hopeful Papa the Great will beat this disease quickly. Finally, the boys had field trips to the Magic House to learn about the branches of government. Their grade is so big they had to break it up into two days. So Levi was going one day and Will and Max were going the other. Well Levi had a great time on his field trip and I was so happy I got to go with him. I showed up at the Magic House the following day for Max and Will's turn, but Will got sick on the bus and I had to take him home. Max still had fun even though Will and I had to go home.
