Irish South Bend Cup

We went to South Bend, Indiana for the Irish South Bend Cup tournament for the boys hockey team last weekend.  We played our first game in the Olympic arena at Notre Dame which was pretty cool.  We went to the Notre Dame semi-final hockey game where they beat Michigan in Overtime and the boys had a blast cheering them on and watching so close to the ice.  We didn't make it to the finals of the tournament, but since our last game was our official last game of the season the boys just went out and had fun.  It was St. Patrick's day so I had green mustaches for everyone.  The parents all wore the mustaches during the game and some of the team wore them while they were playing.  It was a fun way to end the season, although I was a little  teary eyed.  I am going to miss this great group of boys!

The boys day with the Blue Note Cup!

It's been so much fun winning the Blue Note Cup.  The boys team picture was on the Blue's social media pages and they also posted a video with clips from the games and the boys team was on there quite a bit.  The boys each got to have a day with the cup and we had a little bit of fun taking photos with it!

Blue Note Cup CHAMPIONS!!!

The boys regular season playoff tournament began last weekend.  They made it to the championship game...and WON 4-2 against the Meremac Sharks. Max scored 2 goals, Levi had amazing defense and Will had awesome saves.  It was so much fun. Since it was the championship and sponsored by the Blues, they had music during breaks, power play songs and the siren when we scored a goal.  The team received the Blue Note Cup and each player received a  first place medal and a championship hat.  I am so proud of the boys and their team!
