Bike Ride

Dale was working on Saturday and we wanted something to do, so we decided to take a bike ride from our house to our new house.  We stopped at Riverside Sweets on the way for ice cream and continued on our 12 mile trek to the barn.  We were about 2 miles out when we noticed a really dark sky behind us.  We decided to book it, but I called Dale to give him a heads up on the weather.  We were nearly there when it just started pouring on us.  Luckily Dale noticed and jumped in his truck and came and got us.  Even though we were so close, we were glad he came because we were soaked and the rain was pelting us, not to mention the wind.  We were able to laugh about it after a few minutes!

House Progress

We started building out house back in March.  We are making good progress and we really like watching each step of the building process.  We should have shingles and windows by next week and they have started on the plumbing and HVAC.  We are getting very excited and can't wait until we can move in!
