Last night Dale started his Dartball season so I have the boys to myself for 1.5 hours. Now you would think that I am home with the boys all day long, what is 1.5 hours in the evening. Well they tend to be more crabby in the evening and last night they were especially crabby. Levi is getting more teethe so he has been completely out of character and very needy. And when one of them is needy they are all needy because why should mommy be holding Levi and not Max and Will. So anyway the whining is constant and I am already very frustrated when Levi decided to take a nose dive of the bench. They stand on the bench and look out the window all the time and this particular instance was very strange. He didn't fall off backwards, he wasn't pushed by his brothers, it was like he just dove off the side on purpose! So now Levi has a bump on his head. Since the night was going so well I decided to give them their snack early. I put some cereal on their table which satisfied their moods for about 10 minutes before Levi and Will decided to be needy again and start crawling on me. All of a sudden I hear Sally yelp and Max scream. I ran over to see that Sally bit Max in the face. Luckily it was not very bad. There are two little scratches on his nose and he has a swollen upper lip where two of Sally's teeth punctured the skin. I am assuming that Max was bugging Sally to the point that she snapped or they were fighting over a piece of cereal that had fallen on the floor. Either way, Sally and Huck are no longer allowed in the same room as the boys during snack/meal times. I've seen the dogs get frustrated before where they've growled and you knew to separate them, but never this. We will be extra cautious with the dogs now. And this all the night before we see the pediatrician for their 15-18 month well baby visit!
The check-ups went well. The doctor said that dog bites are more frequent during this age of kids because they don't know boundaries, but as long as both Max and Sally were up to date on shots there was nothing to be concerned about. Everything else went fine. Will weighs 23 pounds 12 ounces and is 32.5 inches tall, Max weighs 25 pounds 3 ounces and is 32.5 inches tall and Levi weighs 22 pounds 6 ounces and is 32 inches tall. They received their next round of immunizations and their flu shot. Hopefully we won't have to go back until they turn 2!

MOMMES Hayride!
My MOMMES (Mother of Multiples in Metro East St. Louis) group had a hayride yesterday at one of the members farms in Illinois. There were probably about 20 families at this event that have triplets or more. I think one person told us that there was 87 kids there! It was quite a site to see. The boys had a blast! Besides the fun of the hayride itself, this family had so many toys, bikes, trucks, etc. that the boys didn't stop playing for 3 hours straight. They hardly took the time to eat because they were so anxious to go out and play some more. It made us realize that we need more toys...oh and about 100 acres for them to play on! But, we will keep dreaming!

Will's day out!
Today was Will's day to go out with mommy all by himself. Since it was so hot, we decided to hit up Barnes & Noble and pick out some new books. All of the boys love books (well Max loves to eat them), but Will is just fascinated by them. So I decided this is a perfect outing for him. We picked out some new books, went to lunch with Grandma Hackmann and then went to get some new fall clothes. We even rode the train in the Mill's mall. It was a great day for both of us. Will really enjoyed being the only child and I really enjoyed getting to devote all of my attention to just him. Next week is Levi's turn, I can't wait!

A weekend full of adventures!
We had a fun weekend full of adventures. On Friday we went to the Balloon Glow in Forest Park. It was really pretty and the boys seemed to enjoy themselves. Then the night made a bad turn. We took the Metro Link since we heard it was hard to find parking. The stop was crowded as expected after an event ends, but we were lucky enough that the doors of the train stopped right where we were standing and we were able to push the stroller right in. Well about 10 minutes and several stops later us and about 10 other people realized we were on the wrong train! So needless to say, after train hopping several times we didn't get home until midnight! We won the dumbest parent of the year award on this one!
On Saturday we went apple picking in Grafton. Honestly we were a little nervous about doing anything after the night we had on Friday, but decided to go ahead with our plans. I'm glad we did because we had so much fun. My cousin Ashley and her boyfriend Nick went with us which was a great help with the boys. The boys loved picking the apples up off the ground and carrying them around, and of course they loved when daddy cut them a piece to taste. It was a very fun day. We can't wait to go back for pumpkins!

Max's Day Out!
Over the next few weeks I plan on taking one of the boys with me to do errands and such for some one on one time. Today was Max's day! He went first frankly because he is having separation issues even worse than usual after being back from Chicago. I figured he really needed some mommy time all to him self. We went shopping, to lunch with Grandma Weber and to the park! I think he really enjoyed being the only child for a few hours. Hopefully Levi and Will will have just as much fun in the upcoming weeks. Here is Max at the park!
Mommy's weekend away!
I finally went to visit my cousin Lisa in Chicago. If you recall, I had to cancel my trip in February due to strep. We had great weather, and although I didn't feel the best Saturday (a little hangover in addition to a little car sickness from the crazy driving) it was worth the wait. We didn't do anything in particular, just went to Lisa's favorite local spots and relaxed. I rode the Amtrak for the first time, which was neat. I also tasted Thai and Indian foods for the first time. We had a great weekend and can't wait to do it again!

Lots of play time outside!
Here are some pictures from the past few weeks just of the boys playing outside. They are so happy the weather has gotten nicer. We haven't been doing much, although we did manage to take a day trip up to Loutre Lake to visit friends over Labor Day weekend. The boys loved it. There were 8 kids (babies) including them! They have so much fun paying with other kids.
