Last T-ball game!

The boys had their last T-ball game of the season last night.  They have improved so much since the first game and they're so cute to watch.  They had an awards ceremony after the game and they each received a metal.

Mark Twain Lake!

We had nothing going on last weekend and the river was still up so we decided to head to Mark Twain Lake for the weekend with Mama Weber.  Aunt Megan, Uncle Bill, Jacob and Riley also came!  We roasted marshmallows by the campfire, took 4-wheeler rides and headed out to the lake.  Unfortunately out boat wouldn't start but luckily Favorite Aunt Sandy and Uncle Steve let us borrow their boat so we got to enjoy the lake.  Saturday evening Papa the Great came up as well.  We had a little bit of bad luck, but it was a great weekend to be at the lake!

 

Oh and a funny story from the lake.  Dale and Max were sharing a bed in GG's camper.  Max was in bed before Dale so when Dale came to bed Max was stretched out taking up the entire bed.  Dale said "Scoot over Max you're being a bed hog!" and he pushed him over.  They were laying there for a few minutes snuggling and Max said "Dad, what's a bed hog look like?"  Haha!  Too stinkin' cute!

Meet the Teacher-Max

Last night was a meet the teacher night for Max.  He met his new Kindergarten teacher Ms. Coombs!  We were able to walk around the school and see Max's classroom, the lunchroom and the library.  Max was skeptical when we first got there but by the time we left he was excited about going to "big kid school"!

Fourth of July!

We went to the parade on July 4th again this year.  The boys all had fun catching candy and the girls enjoyed naps!  Afterwards we swam in Grandpa and Grandma's pool.  Finally we went to Uncle Warren's for a fish fry.  The boys played water balloons with Bobby, the got to watch fireworks "all around the house" (We could see several area fireworks displays from Uncle Warren's house) and finally they roasted S'mores in the fire.
