Labor Day Weekend 2017

Over Labor Day Weekend we went camping at the Black River with several of our friends and their kids.  On Saturday we hung out on the rock bar and played in the water and on Sunday we went on a float trip.  The boys had so much fun playing with Keegan, Korbin, Macie, Jacob and Kaitlyn.

Grandma's 60th Birthday!

We celebrated Grandma's 60th birthday by taking her on the river and to Grafton Harbor for dinner on Friday night!  Aunt Lauren, Uncle Ryan, Blake and Reed meet us as well.  It was a beautiful night and we celebrated again on Saturday by having a swimming party at grandma's!

Solar Eclipse

We went to the boys school to watch the Solar Eclipse with them.  We sat in a big grassy area and were able to watch all together.  It was neat to see it get darker and hear the crickets and cicadas start to sing when it was at it's peak of totality.  We were very happy to be able to witness them event all together.

We got to have recess with the kids before heading to our spot to watch the eclipse.  Daddy took them on in basketball!

Cardinal's Game

We surprised the boys and took them to a Cardinals game on Friday night.  They really get in to watching the games on T.V. so we thought it would be fun to take them now that they actually watch it and know what's going on.  It was a great night and a great game.

First Day of 3rd Grade!

The boys started 3rd grade today.  Our summer was fun and went by fast, but I think everyone was ready to go back.  They had a good day and after school we went for our traditional ice cream on Main Street.  Jacob and Riley came along as well since Jacob started Kindergarten and Riley started pre-school.

A nice evening on the river!

It's the last week before school starts so we decided to head out on the river on a weeknight.  It was a beautiful evening and we had such a relaxing time.
