Blue Note Cup CHAMPIONS!!!

The boys regular season playoff tournament began last weekend.  They made it to the championship game...and WON 4-2 against the Meremac Sharks. Max scored 2 goals, Levi had amazing defense and Will had awesome saves.  It was so much fun. Since it was the championship and sponsored by the Blues, they had music during breaks, power play songs and the siren when we scored a goal.  The team received the Blue Note Cup and each player received a  first place medal and a championship hat.  I am so proud of the boys and their team!

The boys participated in their first hockey tournament this weekend in Evansville, Indiana and got 2nd place.  They had so much fun.  When they weren't playing a hockey game they were playing shinny hockey or swimming in the hotel with the rest of the team.  Max got a double hat trick in the first game and 11 goals total for the weekend, Levi got 2 assists in a game and played amazing defense and Will was named MVP for our team for his amazing saves during the last game.  They all played amazing and it was such a good experience.

Spelling Bee

Levi was in the school spelling bee on Thursday.  There were 15 students; five each from 3rd, 4th and 5th grade.  He kept making it to the next round and then he was in the final two.  They battled it out for a while until finally Levi won!  He was so excited.  We are very proud of him!

Happy 90th Birthday Grandma Sue!

We celebrated Grandma Sue's 90th birthday today.  We had a nice lunch and the boys played in the snow with all of their cousins.
