Christmas Branson-Swimming

Our annual trip to Branson for an Old Time Christmas started with swimming in the indoor pool and hot tub. We even gave the boys the choice to go to Silver Dollar City an extra night since we had a season pass, but they were too excited to get into the pool! They practiced swimming without their life jackets and Will was even jumping in. When they were finally worn out, we went back to the condo for pizza and a movie!

Halloween!

The boys were very into Halloween this year! The night before they carved pumpkins with daddy. They each drew what they wanted on their pumpkin and Dale cut it for them. They were off school on Halloween so we had a day full of Trick or Treating! We started at Grandma Hackmann's work, then Mama Weber's work, then lunch, then Grandma Sue's (she wasn't home so a quick trip), then GG's (where Grandma Sue met us since she missed us) and finally home in time to freshen up before we went to Aunt Megan and Uncle Bill's to Trick or Treat with all the cousins! The boys got so much candy I think it's going to "disappear" really soon! It was a fun (and exhausting) day!

50's Day!

Today was the 50th day at school, so everyone got to dress up like the 50's. They had a sock hop and ice cream floats and other fun activities through the day. The boys outfits were so cute!

Pumpkin Patch!

We finally made it to the Pumpkin Patch Tuesday after school. It was a perfect fall evening for it. I didn't take many pictures because the boys were just too busy having fun, then by the time we chose pumpkins Levi went into meltdown mode! So besides the ending, it was a great time!

Big Cedar Lodge!

For Christmas last year Mama Weber and Papa Great gave us a trip to Big Cedar Lodge. Since the boys were on Fall Break last week, we decided that was a perfect time to use it. We had such a great time! The boys went swimming in the indoor pool and outdoor hot tub every night we were there. We went fishing along the shore of Table Rock Lake. The boys even learned to use a fishing pole with a spinning reel (without the thumb button) and now want Santa to bring them one for Christmas! Levi and mommy were the only two to catch fish, if you can call them that! (If you look really really close at the picture you might be able to see it!) We went to dinner at the Buzzard's Bar at Big Cedar one night and at Japanese another night. We went to Silver Dollar City for the entire day on Thursday. The boys are tall enough to ride most rides with an adult so it was nice to not be stuck in the little kid area all day. Levi and Will rode Fire in the Hole and they were so proud of themselves. Levi even had to get a Fire in Hole t-shirt! It was even warm enough that water rides were open and Dale convinced Will to go with him on the Log Flume. At one point we rode the swinging pirate ship. The boys HATED it! They were hysterical by the time the ride stopped and after that Max didn't ride anything else! Although, he promises he'll ride Fire in the Hole when we go back in 3 weeks for Old Thyme Christmas! Finally on our way home we stopped in at the big Bass Pro Shops in Springfield. The boys were in awe of the place and we couldn't get out of there for less than $100! It was a great getaway and we're so excited to head back to Branson in a couple of weeks!
