Fourth Quarter Kindergarten Awards!

The boys had their final Kindergarten Awards yesterday. Will, Max and Levi all received the Literacy award for knowing at least 77 sign words and Will and Levi received the writing awards for being able to write 5 correct sentences. It's hard to believe that in just a few short days Kindergarten is over and they will be First Graders!

Soccer

The boys have been playing soccer for a several weeks now. This was just an introduction, so there was no team play but focused more on learning the game. Although it was hard to get Max and Levi to go every week, once we were there they really enjoyed it. Next we start T-ball! Max is excited about that so he "doesn't have to put on so much stuff"! (He didn't like the shin guards and soccer shoes!)

Mother's Day and Birthdays!

On Mother's Day we went to church then came home so the boys could give me my presents. Dale bravely took them shopping at the Mall and they each picked something out for me. Will gave me a necklace and earrings, Max gave me some body wash and lotion, Levi gave me a new bike helmet and Cabo gave me a flashlight and pepper spray. The boys also made me some cute things at school. We then had Grandma and Grandpa Hackmann, Aunt Megan, Uncle Bill, Jake and Riley and Aunt Lauren, Uncle Ryan and Blake over to celebrate Mother's Day and Will, Max, Levi and Jake's birthdays! The kids all played in the sprinkler for a while before dinner then after dinner the boys opened presents and we had cupcakes and ice cream! Will, Max and Levi had a surprise present from their late Uncle Orville. He passed away last year before he could buy them a birthday present. So Grandpa and Grandma Hackmann used the money Orville put aside for them and got them a wake-board, water skiis and a Hot dog Tube. They were very excited to get something from Uncle Orville! Finally, the kids all played and played in the yard with their new airplanes until we couldn't see them anymore! It was a very nice Mother's Day and the boys had s wonderful birthday!

First time on river 2015!

On Sunday afternoon we made it out to the river for the official first time of 2015! We headed to the sand bar and hung out there all afternoon. The boys had a blast playing at the sand bar and even though the water was freezing they swam anyway. (It was mostly Will and Max that swam, but Levi finally got in a little bit!). We then went on a cruise and floated while we ate dinner. (Well the kids slept and Daddy and Mommy ate dinner!) Finally we had to head home, but it was a great relaxing day on the river!
