Table Rock Lake!

The river has been flooded and we had yet to use our boat this year so we decided on a last minute trip to Table Rock Lake for a long weekend. We arrived late Thursday night with three super excited boys that didn't want to go to bed even though it was 11:30! The next morning they woke ready to go to the pool. So while I took a shower Dale took the boys to the pool and then we headed down to the lake. We spent most of the day on the lake and then came in to make an early dinner before heading out on the lake again for an evening cruise. On Saturday when we woke up we headed straight for the lake. Again we spent most of the day on the lake. In typical Levi fashion, he wouldn't get in the lake. I forced him in once where he screamed that he wanted back in the boat until I held my camera up and he smiled proudly and said "cheese" and then promptly wanted out again. He was content as could be on the boat, but we headed in for a while to take the boys to the pool so Levi would go swimming. After that we had dinner and headed out for another evening cruise. We went to a beautiful cove where Dale introduced them to an echo. It was hilarious! There was a secluded house up in the bluffs that we could barely see, but the boys thought it was the house talking back to us! On Sunday we packed up all of our things and went out on the lake for a few hours before heading home. It was a perfect weekend. We hope we can sneak in another trip like this before summer is over! (I forgot my camera of all things so the pictures aren't the best since I took them all with my phone!)
