On Friday the boys and I took a bike ride from the Family
Arena to Frontier Park where we had a picnic lunch. From there we went and got an ice cream on
Main Street (the boys call it “Ice Cream Street”) and finally rode our bikes
back. It was a rough start where if not
one boy it was another stopping for some reason, but once they were able to see
the Casino and bridge they started getting excited that we were almost
there. The picnic and ice cream were a
lot of fun and on the way back we had to stop in “Favorite Aunt Sandy’s Tunnel”
to take a few pictures. They kept asking if she had to get a new car or if the tunnel was new. They were very intrigued that she was able to drive through the tunnel! (Sorry F.A.
Sandy…we love you!) The boys did great
until the very end when Will became hot and was ready to be done. Luckily at that point our destination was
right around the corner. It was really
fun to just spend the day with the boys!
Hopefully we can do it again soon.
