Papa Great has been going to Canada fishing since I was a little girl. Mommy and two of her girl cousins have always wanted to go and we finally got the chance to this summer. Mommy and Papa Great along with Lisa, her husband Rob and Uncle Alan, Alicia and Uncle Tony, Wyatt and Uncle Warren, Uncle Howard, Uncle Paul and Uncle Kenny all headed to Atikokan, Ontario for a fly-in fishing trip on Lake Marmion. We stayed in a tiny little cabin on a little rock island that only had solar power and you had to go potty in an outhouse. It was beautiful, peaceful and a really great time. We fished, swam in the lake, fished, and fished some more! Mommy will treasure the memories from this trip with her daddy and uncles forever.
While I was gone the boys had a bucket list that they were determined to get through. They went to Pizza Street for dinner and Waffle House for dinner since mommy doesn't like those places. They went to Grandpa and Grandma's condo and played on the lake and went to Silver Dollar City. They went to get Ice Cream at ted Drewe's. And they went to the St. Charles County Fair. They stayed busy while I was gone, but I missed them terribly and sure was ready to see all my boys!
