Papa the Great had another bone marrow test last week and a follow-up with his oncologist on Tuesday. Great news! He is considered in remission! There were no detectable tumor cells in his bone marrow. He now goes into Consolidation treatment for 28 weeks then will be on maintenance for 2 years. He still has a long road of treatment, but it will not be as as grueling as what he has been going through for the past 60 days. We had a little get together for dad last Friday to cheer him up. We surprised him by all wearing a special shirt!

When Papa Great retired he gave Max his hard hat. Well one day he wore an orange vest and added a sign to Papa's orange hard had that said "I Hate Leukemia!"
