Baby Jacob!

The boys finally got to meet Baby Jacob!  They were so excited and in love with him!  They don't quite understand that he can't do anything, but they will be great big cousins!  Here are just a couple of pictures.  Levi kept saying "Take my picture with Baby Jacob"!  He is very proud of his cousin!

Memorial Day 2012!

We went to Mark Twain Lake at my family's property over Memorial Day weekend!  We spent 3 days on the lake and hanging out with lots of cousins!  It was hot and the water was cold, but the kids didn't seem to mind.  They all had a blast playing together.  There may not be as many pictures of Levi because in his typical fashion he was on the boat most of the time!  We had a great time and can't wait to go back!

Caiden invited all his friends to his Pa's camper and had a dance party!  It was hilarious.  We walked in and all the boys are dancing with their shirts off!  Caiden throws the best parties!!!

Last Day of School!

The boys last day of school was last Friday.  Each class had a different theme and they had a little parade.  It was very cute.  We are going to miss PP1 teachers Miss Wendy, Miss Teresa and Miss Pam!

First Boat Ride 2012!

On Sunday May 20^th, we were finally able to get on the river for the first time this year.  We just went for a boat ride and didn’t stop to play in the sand and water because the boys were still getting over Hand, Foot and Mouth and we didn’t want to expose their sores to the river water!  The boat ride was nice though.  The boys are going to be so much fun on the boat this year!

A New Baby Cousin!

So I am extremely behind in blogging.  We have been very busy so I am going to try to catch up with several post today.  The big news is that the boys have a new cousin Jacob (or “Baby Jacob” as they call him!)  He is so precious and I cannot wait to spoil him.  Dale and I were able to visit him briefly the day after he was born, but later that day Levi and Max came down with a fever so we were going to have to hold off on the boys meeting him for a few days.  Well it turned out that Levi and Max had Hand, Foot and Mouth disease.  Let me tell you this is the absolute worst sickness the boys have ever had.  For some reason Levi was not as severe as Max, but he was still miserable.  Levi had a few spots on his feet and a terrible looking throat, but Max had spots everywhere.  He couldn’t take a drink of water without crying for 20 minutes.  It was so horrible seeing them in so much pain and not being able to do anything.  Will somehow got away without getting it.  He did have a virus earlier that same week, but was gone within 2 days. So with this house being infected we have to wait to meet Baby Jacob!  We hope to see him very soon!

A Picnic in the Park!

The weather has been so nice so we decided to go to the park and have a picnic lunch.  I had gotten the boys a bandanna because Papa wears one when he rides his motorcycle and the boys always wanted one.  Well they had to wear them to the park.  The good thing was it made them very easy to spot!  And they were too darn cute in them!

Backyard Pool!

Since the weather was so hot this past weekend we decided to get a backyard pool.  The boys had a great time splashing in the water.  I thought the water was freezing, but the boys didn't seem to mind.  Oh to be a kid again!
