Mark Twain Lake

The boys were off school on Friday so we went up to Mark Twain Lake with Mama Weber for a couple of days. We went on the lake on Friday and got stuck in a rain storm.  To top that off  the boat wouldn't run so we had to be towed in!  We made it an adventure though and were able to laugh about it!  On Saturday morning Papa Great took us fishing.  The boys have only gone fishing off the dock and have only caught little bluegill so they were very excited about fishing off Papa Great's boat.  We had some good luck and caught quite a few fish.  It was so much fun watching the boys excitement every time they got a fish.  Levi and Papa Great caught a pretty big Catfish.  When they got it to the net Levi flexed his muscles and said "I'm strong"!  It was priceless!  When we were done fishing we headed home to see daddy and Cabo!

First Day of Kindergarten!

The day has arrived where my babies start kindergarten!  I cannot believe it!  The boys were up early and ready to go.  I made them a pancake breakfast for their first day and then we took some pictures.  We then had to "wait  forever" for dad to get home so we could take them to school!  (They were very anxious to get there!)  Dale and I dropped them off and that was it, they were gone!  Max was hesitant to get out of the car at first but then did great.  I did pretty well too!  I only teared up a couple of times, but there really wasn't anytime for me to get worked up.  Which is probably why we can't bring the kids to their classrooms, better for parents and the kids!  When we picked them up they were so excited to tell us all about it and how it was "awesome"!  We then took them for an ice cream to celebrate their first day of school!

Yesterday we finally met Will's Kindergarten teacher Mrs. Gotsch!  Then we got to put everyone's supplies away and find their seat in their classrooms.  I cannot believe they are going to Kindergarten on Wednesday!

Table Rock Lake!

We took another trip to Table Rock Lake but this time Aunt Megan, Uncle Bill, Jacob, Riley, Aunt Lauren, Uncle Ryan and Blake all went with us.  The boys has two friends that were at the cabin next door that they played with anytime we weren't on the lake and the girls did awesome even on the lake.  We spent most of the day on the lake then would come in to bar-b-que.  On our last night we finally got out for an evening boat ride and were even able to see fireworks from Silver Dollar City.  We had a great time and are sad that summer is almost over.
