Easter

We had a busy and fun Easter weekend.  We colored Easter Eggs and went to the movies on Friday.  On Saturday we went car shopping and finally got mommy a new car and then went to an Easter party at Great Uncle Jerry and Great Aunt Rose's.  Finally on Easter we went to church, to Grandma Sue's and finally to Grandpa and Grandma Hackmann's.

Spring Break!

For Spring Break we decided to take a short trip to Grandpa and Grandma’s condo at Table Rock Lake.  We hung out at the condo Saturday morning riding the golf cart and scooters.  We would drive the boys to the top of the hill and they would ride their scooters down to the lake.  They thought this was awesome and could have done it all day.  After lunch we went on a really long hike.  We hiked the same trail we did last year, but took different paths.  We walked along Lake Taneycomo and saw a few caves.  The boys did so great that we hiked for almost 4 hours.  On Sunday we went to Silver Dollar City and it was FREEZING.  Some of the big roller coasters were closed because it was too cold, but we still got to ride some rides and had a lot of fun.

Max loses his first...and second tooth!

Max finally lost his first tooth on Monday at school!  He was so excited and proud and cherishes his $1 from the Tooth Fairy. 

Then yesterday his other front tooth was so loose it was kind of just hanging there.  Finally, at 4 a.m. this morning Max wakes us up that his tooth came out!  Look at that adorable toothless grin!

Sunday Funday!

We've been so busy lately that we made a plan to enjoy some warm weather on Sunday.  After Church we went to Klondike park for a bike ride and picnic.  We did a loop from Klondike Park, through the Lewis and Clark Trail, on the Katy Trail and back to Klondike Park.  Some parts of the trails in Klondike were a little much for Levi so after we had our picnic, Levi and I just rode around the pond at the park and Daddy, Will and Max went and did some harder trails.  Max said "The most dangerous stuff is the most fun!"  I was probably better off staying with Levi because if I saw my babies doing what daddy said they were doing, I might have had a heart attack!  It was nice to finally take a day and do something we love together.

Sweet!

So a normal day in our house consists of constant bickering, fighting and trying to one up each other.  But sometimes we get a glimpse at the friendship and love the boys share.  The other night we found the boys all snuggling in bed watching a Kindle together.  I was able to sneak a picture of the sweet moment.  How wonderful to always have two best friends!
