The Zoo and Papa the Great!

We have been having a fun week.  Sunday we went to the Zoo.  We have not been to the Zoo yet this year and needed to make use of our membership.  Of course it was a nice day and it was Sunday so it was very crowded, but we still had a good time.  We went to the Caribbean Cove exhibit, rode the train and saw the Elephants.  That was about all we were able to fit in, but that’s the good part about having the membership.  We can always come back.  I only took these two pictures of us on the train.

Today we took a drive over to see Papa the Great at work.  He is driving a John Deere tractor on his current job so the boys were super excited.  To make things even better Papa the Great was able to take the boys for a ride.  They will be talking about this for months!  I was only able to convince them to leave because Chesterfield Airport was next to his job and I promised to drive by to see the planes.  There was a perfect little roadway right across the street that we saw the airport perfectly.  We were able to see an airplane take off and an airplane land.  It was a great afternoon!
